A successful day on this remarkable estate – the 22 DSWA members who turned out were treated to a brief but interesting history, and tour, of the Brathay grounds, from staff Kev & Nick – before tackling a 10 metre stretch of wall rebuild, and cheek-ends restoration.
At very few of our meetings have we enjoyed such a splendid, civilised lunch, laid on for us in the Hall canteen; as well as the comfort of a large gazebo and seats for morning & afternoon breaks. The good progress to be continued on Sunday….
